The Angus is a sharing workbench designed specifically for the new workspace. Tactility and pleasure of use are at the forefront of its design.  This version has a visible oak core and soft edge wrapped in veg-tan leather with saddle stitching detail. The natural leather is highly durable but will age gracefully generating its own character and appeal. With integrated cable management and lighting option, Angus can be configured in 120cm standard modules, each allowing two workstations.

We also offer the Angus with an inset leather or formica top in a wide range of colours as well as a solid oak top which can be made in bespoke sizes. The edge detailing is different for these options. Please contact us for further details and prices.

Bespoke lighting made from gilding metal in our metal workshop has been designed in collaboration with Foundry Lighting.

What isn't made into furniture is turned into small items such as chopping boards or stored for the winter to provide us with heating. Ordering and Delivery

How to Order

For Workspace pieces, rather than ordering on-line, we would prefer to chat through your order with you so that we can talk through the timber choices, dimensions and any other specific requirements you may have.  Please call us on 01488 608020.  Alternatively e-mail sales@benchmarkfurniture.com or better still, visit us at our showroom and while you are here, we would be delighted to show you around the workshop.

Lead Times

All our pieces are made to order and crafted to the highest quality. We don't cut corners or compromise our standards so please be aware that your order may take 8-10 weeks. 

Authenticity

Each piece of furniture we sell has a mark in the form of a discreetly fixed polished pewter disk that shows that it is an authentic Benchmark original. This is individually numbered and a record of the piece and purchaser is kept in our register.

Delivery

We have our own fleet of vehicles and drivers to ensure safe delivery. Where we can’t deliver ourselves due to distance, we work with partner companies who offer the same high quality service and care.  Smaller items will be delivered by courier to keep costs as low as possible.  Your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped to protect it whilst in transit, delivered into the room of your choice and unwrapped.  Please let us know if you have any access issues.

Our delivery cost is dependent upon your postcode and will be calculated when you place your order.   You are welcome too pick up your furniture from our workshop if you would prefer (we’d love to meet you!).

Peace of Mind

We take pride in all our goods being made to exceptional standards but because things sometimes go wrong, our returns policy states that where a damaged or faulty piece of furniture is delivered, we will do our utmost to rectify the error as quickly as possible. If you are unhappy with your purchase for other reasons, let us know within seven days and we will guarantee a refund providing the item is returned in "as new condition" within 14 days. Unfortunately we are unable to refund shipping, handling or insurance charges, except of course in the case of any errors on our part. Bespoke pieces made to special order cannot be refunded, unless there is a fault with the product.

We are confident that our furniture will stand the test of time and offer a five year guarantee against defective workmanship and materials. However, please note that most of our furniture is made of solid timber, and you should expect it to move slightly in damp or overly dry conditions.
