Benchmark make exclusive collection for The Conran Shop
In the last few months Benchmark have been busy making a new range for The Conran Shop which has recently been launched at their flagship store in Chelsea – the first phase of a year-long programme involving a radical redesign of the shop floor that is to be rolled out across the group.
We’ve made a 10-piece furniture range called ‘Wardour’ which is exclusive to the Conran Shop. The timeless elegant designs include a gentleman’s press, side table, chest of drawers, dressing table, dining table and a glorious four-poster bed all made from solid oak.
A few of the Benchmark team visited the store recently and loved the new layout which focuses on room sets and ‘edited’ objects. It doesn’t follow trends but takes the best possible materials and products, edited down with Conran flair and creativity to reflect the very best of the way we live now under one roof. Much of the inspiration has come from Terence’s country home, here at Barton Court.
